Day's 145-151

Day 145, 5-25-09
{B} got to pick out a new little night gown while shopping today. She loves flowers so this was her pick.
Since she looked so pretty in her "dress" she insisted on wearing her sunday shoes.

I love how easy it is to make her happy. You could just see how pretty she felt. What a cute girl.

Day 146, 5-26-09
Every time I go to use my camera I find new pictures on it that {J} has taken. Here's one from today. Such a silly kid.

Day 147, 5-27-09
How many babies do you see? Seriously it's like where's waldo in here.
Day 148, 5-28-09 {B} got a hold of a green marker and decided to color her socks.

such a busy busy girl.

Day 149, 5-29-09
I was busy working in the kitchen and heard some knocking. I looked out the window and saw {B} smiling at me.
She had climbed up on this new shelf I bought for the back yard and peeked in to say hello :)
Day 150, 5-30-09

Our best friends are coming to town to visit us. They couldn't get here soon enough, all day long I kept hearing how much loooonger til they get here (and I was thinking it) seriously I felt like a little kid on Christmas Morning waiting for them to arrive. We were ALL very excited for them to get here.
Day 151, 5-31-09

Since Amy is in town we decided it would be fun to go visit our old ward. It was so fun to get to see everybody again, I especially LOVED seeing the YW's. We had a lot of fun visiting and catching up. They sure are great girls and I'm glad they are in good hands with their current leaders I really admire them all. I had a lot of fun just laughing with the girls as we talked about crazy things we did. Seriously there is not a better group of girls anywhere! It was so fun to see them.

Day 144, 5-24-09, Happy Sabbath Sounds

I love sitting around the piano and singing songs together.
We have got a lot of use of this piano that {R} bought me for Christmas 2 years ago.
To me having a piano is the difference between having a house and a home.

{K}'s piano teacher has started to teach him primary songs. So {K} accompanied us tonight. It was awesome. He's getting so good and will be better than me before we know it.

Growing up I loved when my family would sing together and I'm so glad we have kept the tradition alive in our home.

Happy Sunday!

Day 143, 5-23-09 Another sick baby

Luckily it's not this cute girl that is sick...
it's her baby!
I have had a blast watching her be so "motherly" with her baby and feeding her saltines too.
She keeps saying "baby ick, ear go baby, otay baby" {baby's sick, here you go baby, you okay baby} She has also rocked her baby and sang her songs while patting her on the back.
She has also done a good job "taking care of "{J}
He's a good sport and real cute with her.

Day 142, 5-22-09 Not part of our Summer plans.

I have a lot I want to do with the kids this summer
and had today all planned out but poor little {J} is sick as a dog.
just after 2:00 this morning {J} came in my room and told me he threw-up. We changed his bedding and got him a bowl. He had two other insidencts throughout the night. Poor little kid.
We made him a bed on the couch and he hasn't kept anything down. He's living on saltines, orange popsicles and 7 up. Hope he is able to keep something down soon and be back to his happy, silly, busy self soon.

Day 141, 5-21-09 Hip Hip Horray!!!

Today was the last day of school so we are now officially on Summer Vacation.
I love the excitiement and energy in our home right now!
I'm excited for a fun Summer with the kids.
Becca helped me color a little banner to hang in the front door for when the boys got home.
we also placed bright happy flowers all over the yard.
(We are purposely killing our grass, so we can re-seed with the kind we like)
In order to officially kick off summer they had to run through the sign and break it.

they all thought it was awesome and they were so cute about it.
Even {B} got in on the fun. Happy Summer Vacation!!!

Day 140, 5-20-09 HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

The kids were supposed to have a picnic at the park for lunch as part of the end of school celebrations. When the boys got home from school I asked how the park was. {K} said (as serious as can be) "OH...We didn't get to go, they said it was way too hot, so we had to eat at school" I said "oh I'm sorry, that's too bad". There was a heat advisory that day so they didn't want to have the kids out in the heat that long. Then he said "I know, and I was thinking COME ON!!!...we live in Arizona of course it's going to be too hot". :) So true little buddy, so true.

Day 139, 5-19-09 silly boy!

When we were in Utah last month we stayed with {R}'s sister and family.
We had fun and I was escpecially grateful for the chance to get to know
this little guy a little better.
He is such a silly little boy and kept cracking us all up. (love the upside down glasses)
Here he's taking my picture with his phone camera. :)
{R} also got precise instructions on the correct way to play with the big red fire engine. You see the buttons have to be pushed in a certain order and he told {R} all about it. ha ha!
Jammin on the drums.
this kids got talent

He even eats cute!

I seriously could not get enough of him. I smile just thinking about him and am so glad I got to know him a little better. Being an Aunt is the BEST!!!
Love you Bubba!

Day 137, 5-17-09

It's Sunday night and I'm feeling a little blue. Nothing serious just super homesick
for our family and Amy and really missing my hubby right about now.
Kyle took this picture of us today on our way
out the door for church and I think it turned out cute.
Stay safe out there and hurry home to me babe!

Day 136, 5-16-09 why do we buy toys?

{B} had a ball playing with this frozen pizza box. It kept her entertained for quite some time. Seriously it's times like this I wonder why we even bother buying toys. :)

Day 135, 5.15-09 11 years ago today....

I married the love of my life!!!
Someone made the comment not too long ago that people change when they get married. {R} and I had the same reaction we laughed and both said "Thank goodness for that!!!" It was kind of funny and I've thought about that a lot lately, and I am so grateful for the changes that we have made together over the years. We have had a crazy 11 years and I am proud of how far we have come in all of our trials together. We've had A LOT from unemployment , to illness, to overwhelming medical debt and drama...LOTS of drama, but I am happy to say that we've made it and we're still together and stronger for it.
We have known each other for a LONG time and I had a lot of fun looking through some of our old pictures.

Here we are about to go to Prom! It was the perfect night with the perfect gentleman. I remember trying to decide if this was really LOVE. {sappy I know, but I still get butterflies thinking about it}.

This was at the airport after the MTC on his way to Argentina. What a happy/sad emotinal day.

I felt it was important to give his family some alone time with {R} so I flew in 3 days later on a Sunday so he was released and it's a good thing. I got my 2nd first kiss right away! How did we ever survive those two years apart? It's crazy but we grew closer together through letters in a way we could have never grown had we been together. He would send me the most incredible uplifting letters and motivated me to be a much better person. I still have and cherish my missionary letters.

I am so thankful for my temple marriage and for the chance to live as a family for eternity if we keep the covenants and endure to the end. I love {R} with all my heart. He is the best thing that has happened to me. He makes me laugh, makes me feel good about who I am and has been right there by my side helping me "change" into a better person.

Finally pregnant with our miracle baby.
Here I am very pregnant with baby {J}. The boys are 14 months. apart I wouldn't trade it for the world, but man it was hard back then. We sure had fun though.

Our cute little family.

Our first Arizona Christmas. We went to the Polar Express where it actually gets cold with the Clements and had a blast.

Such handsome little boys!

We were so excited when little {B} came along. She is such a girly girl and I just love that about her.
No one knows us better than we know each other. We can be some where and something will happen and with out saying a word we can tell exactly what the other thinks about it. He is my BEST FRIEND. I am grateful I get to spend Eternity with such a WONDERFUL man. Happy Anniversay hun, I love yoU!

Day 133 and 134,

Day 133, 5-13-09
When I was a little girl my mom would have me practice the piano playing each song 5 times. The first time I had to say the name of the note as I played it. Then the note value, count the beats, sing the words to the song and then just play it.

It was a great way for me to learn the "theory" side of music. So I made a chart and googly monsters for {K} to use during piano.

He gets to put a monster on after he plays the song. When it's all filled up he goes on to the next song.

My mom was always so good at making even the "boring" stuff much more fun. I remember loving this as a kid, and I think Kyle does as well.
Day 134, 5-14-09
{B} had fun playing with her lite brites today. She was so cute, she would pick one up say the color put it in the hole and then clap. She knows her colors really well and it was fun to watch her play this little game that she made up.
