I got to photograph my cute friend Alyssa and family last week. I had a lot of fun. Her boys are so darling and they were all so photogenic, which makes my job a lot of fun. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our afternoon together.

Fun facts about our darling 3 year old!
This little girl...What a sassy sweet little thing. She is so grown up. She LOVES dancing and singing and reading books. She loves all things princess and Dora still. She also has a little flare for the dramatic. It's quite amusing to watch. If one of the boys accidentally, barely bumps her she'll start doing this ridiculous fake cry. She is excited to start preschool and dance class. We told her she could once she is potty trained. So after going potty one time she came out and said "I go to dance class, I take pack pack (back pack) to school. She loves her mom and adores her dad. :) She loves to have her nails painted and putting on make-up and getting her hair done and playing dress up and anything girlie. She gives the BEST hugs, especially at night. She'll pull you down and squeeze you as hard as she can. They are the greatest! She gives out kisses liberally. She loves reading books and does quite well paraphrasing a book even after hearing it only once. Her new favorite phrase is "Maybe later." She'll ask if she can have something, like a cookie, and I'll give her a look like, "yeah right," and then she'll say "Maybe later." Or she'll ask to watch a movie and I'll say, "Not right now," to which she responds, "Maybe later." {B} is rocking the potty training and is even staying dry at night, HORRAY! My favortie word that she say is blanket, pronounce buh-lankle-let. I thought two was fun, but I am having a blast with this adorable little three year old. I LOVE YOU my sweet little B!

Princess Party
Happy Birthday, to our sweet little Princess!
(don't you just love the mismatched princess shoes? She loves Cinderella AND sleeping beauty so she wore one of each. whatever...it's her birthday) :)
{B} turned 3 today. She invited 6 of her little friends over for a princess party, with a special guest of honor Princess Kylie. Kylie was so darling with the girls. They all were smitten with her. seriously...Kylie should go be a professionally princess at Disneyland. She is the BEST!

The girls all looked so darling in there princess attire.

We had fun playing a "fishing" game in the castle. {J} was our little helper inside, and he gave them each a candy neckless to wear.

We transformed our bike trailer/stroller into a carriage. {K} is so strong and gave each of the girls a ride. They LOVED this. He insisted on "being the horse" so he pulled from the front. It looked uncomfortable, but he and the girls all loved it. ha ha.
They all loved playing pin the crown on Princess Kylie. After each turn Kylie gave them a crown shaped container (it was actually in the Easter section, with all the Easter eggs) filled with pink and red m&m's.
Everyone got to pick a different princess to color. Each girl got her own box of Princess crayons to take home with them. Princess Kylie was darling and went around to each girl and asked their favorite Princess and color and such.
Next she read them a story. Don't you just love the cute little friend parked right up on Kylie's skirt. :)
The girls all got a feather boa and we turned on some waltz type music for them to dance to. {K} and {J} used some bubble guns and sprayed the dance floor with bubbles. They all were so cute and full of giggles. Made me laugh to watch and listen to them.
{B} loved all of her presents. She got hooked up. Thank you everyone for all the thoughtful gifts!
sweet little princesses watching with great anticipation.
It's official, she's really three!
We played pass the "poison apple" hot potato style. When the music stopped whomever had the apple got a magic wand.
We did cupcakes with personalized crowns.
Kylie definitely made {B} one happy little girl! Thank you Kylie~We love you!!!
Happy Birthday my sweet little {B}! We are so excited to see all the great things you will do. Thank you for being such a special little addition to our family. WE LOVE YOU!!!

New toy!
We bought a new trampoline and Ry set it up while the kids were at school.

We had a bet to see how long it would take the kids to notice it after coming home from school. We were both way off. It took less than 30 seconds.
They love it and have had a BLAST trying out new tricks and games that their daddy's teaches them.

The Invitation
{B} is going to be 3 on Saturday. I can't believe it!!!
For her first "friend party" we of course have to do everything Pink and Princess. She has been so excited as she watches me get ready for her big day.
The invitation is a castle on a hill.
followed with all the party details.
I didn't want to post it on the blog for privacy reason. But you get the idea.

7 Red things
WOW...it's been a long time since I've done a tag. I thought this one was cute and seems like a lot of fun.
My cute cousin Amy tagged me. I'm supposed to find 7 red things in my home and post it. Then tag 7 other people to do the same.
1. If there is one thing I CAN NOT stand, it's whining. If any of my kids whine they have to go read our sign on the fridge and then try again. (ask/say what they were trying to say without whining) It has been great and even {B} understands all about "using her words" and not whining.

2. My very favorite Christmas gift this year was this beautiful Hymn book filled with gorgeous pictures inside from my parents. I typically don't like any music left on my piano, but this book is so beautiful it is allowed to stay out.
3. I don't remember when or where I got this pin cushion, but I've had it for YEARS. I remember clearly the pin cushion my mom always used when I was little and am pretty sure this is one of those things, my kids will always remember too. I often ask them to run and grab my apple from the sewing closet. :)

4. I don't know what it is about cute fridge notepads, but I can't pass them up. This is a new one I got at Target and it just happens to be red.

5. I found this collapsable basket at the dollar store a couple of years ago and thought it would be the perfect trash can for scrapbooking. I love that it folds up small but is big enough to hold the garbage while I work. It has saved so much time in clean-up of my projects, and boy can I make a mess when I create.

6. This is our "Table Talk" jar. We rotate taking turns drawing a question out of the jar. Then we go around the table and answer the question. They are random and fun to see what the kids come up with. Last nights question was What is the best thing you like about yourself and why?

7. This is probably my favorite red item that I own. My best friend Amy made this adorable bag for my birthday. I absoulutely LOVE it. It is soooo cute.
So there you have it. 7 red things from yours truly. Thanks Amy, that was fun. Now anyone else who wants to join in on the fun do it, but let me know that you are doing it so I can see. :) Have fun.
Change of plans...
We had plans of going out with some friends of ours for date night.
They had a death in the family so we had to postphone it.
We were going to get a babysitter but decided to just make a family outing of it.
I'm so glad we did. It was FUN!
We went to Tempe Market place and walked around looking at all the different things there.
{K} thought the napkin was supposed to be tied around his neck like a cowboy.
He was looking over his menu and I said read your menu again
so I can get a pic...that was cute.
Well he then of course had to ham it up with his hand
on his chin as if in deep thought.
They were both giggling so much and it was the cutest thing ever.
{J} can play a mean game of whack a mole.
We ended up with over 3000 tickets.
The boys each picked a spiderman toy and of course {B} picked something pink.
She loves her little kitty. The boys also found a baseball cap that they picked for {R}.
I got two darling little flower necklesses for {B} birthday next week.
I love making such fun memories with the kids.
I love the age of the boys. They have really started to joke around with Ry and I
and make and understand jokes. It is such a fun age.
I LOVE my Family...They all are just so fun to be with!
