New glasses

All of my kids were walking by 12 months.  I was concerned when Bree wasn't but the doctor assured me that she was fine.  That we don't need to worry unless she is not walking by 18 months.  Well at 15 months it still didn't feel right. She would stand with great balance, but never step.  Only if we were holding her hands or she would use the couch.
When she looks at books she gets her nose right up on the page.  It was so cute.  Looked like she was really studying the page.  Well....one day we were facetiming with daddy and we were cracking up that she once again had her face right up to the screen.  Then BAM it hit me...I wonder if she has a vision problem.   Her therapist and I agreed we should have her checked.  I took her in and sure enough, she is legally blind in both eyes.
It took less than a week for her glasses to come in.  And boy she sure is cute in them.
Three days in glasses and boom she was off walking.
I just love this sweet darling patient little angel!!!

Citizen of the Month

We were very excited to get a letter letting us know Jay won the Citizen of the month for his school.
He was given a plaque at the counsil meeting from the Mayor himself.  I am so proud of Jay and the sweet, kind, smart, hard working kid he is.

sweet heart

Each and every time any one of my kids see a butterfinger, they comment on how that is Amy's favorite kind of candy. Princess went through her stash and picked out all of the butterfingers and put them in a bag to send to Amy, complete with the cutest little lable.  "If that's not love I don't know what is.  She is the biggest sweetheart ever!
