8 is great!

While we were in Utah for Jeffersons Mission homecoming Grandma/pa Mitchell gave Big Sis her special Baptism package since they won't be able to come to her baptism. 

It was fun to watch Big Sis open it and ohhh and ahhhh over each little treasure. 

She loves her Beautiful Porcelain doll, he special owl blanket that symbolizes the comforter (Holy Ghost) and the sweet scrapbook Grandma made.  Each little details was just so sweet.   

 The cool thing about having your birthday the day before Valentines Day is having the class party fall on your birthday.  We partied all day long.  We started out with B shaped pancakes.  I picked her up from school to take her to lunch.  When we got back to school I stayed and got to help with her classroom party. 

 The day of her baptism was so special.  Ry baptism her and there was such a sweet little spirit. 

She got baptized with her buddy Talon Wu.  I secretly hope these two get married.  How cute would that be...the picture below and then one on their wedding day.  haha.  Talon is such an awesome kid   and we adore the Wu's.  Oni (the mom) and I decided to have a big lunch afterwards for all of our loved ones that came to the baptism.  We did Neds Crazy sub with chips, fruit and then had Bahama Bucks shaved ice.  It was AWESOME.  I am sad I did not get a good picture of the entire group but here are the few I got.  The Taylors, Clements, Haynies, Carpenters and Bellons all came.  As well as Jason Mow (Ry's partner at work).  It was such a special day.  I am so proud of my sweet girl and the kind heart that she has.   

I was so excited when Big Sis agreed to having an Owl Birthday Party.  She loves owls as much and I do and we always have so much fun finding owls to show each other. 

We don't do sleep overs in our family so we just had a Owl themed pajama party. 

We ate pizza for dinner.  I made each guest a cute owl pet that they got to adopt.  This was a huge hit. 

Each owl had a different pattern along with a description of them. 

I really tried to personalize them and match them with the girls personality. 

The owls were Athletic, academic, musical, artistic, etc...

After we ate we watched Big Hero 6 on the big screen.  Opened presents and had cake and ice cream.  I sure do love throwing parties.  This one was definitely a favorite for me. 

Sure do love my sweet little girl!
