*warning, I am fine I just thought wanted to have this documented being how we use this as our family journal so to speak.
So I've been having really really intense head aches for the last few months. I finally went to the doctor who had me go and get a CT scan. The following day the doctor called me and said my brain was bleeding and I had to get to the hospital immediately and he was sending an ambulance to pick me up ect...it seemed a little dramatic to me but it spooked me pretty good. I was already in my car and told him I'd come in right away. Thanks Amy for taking lil' sis. When I got there they immediatly took me back and did an MRI to try and pin point where the bleeding was coming from, and if it was still bleeding. The good news is it is not still bleeding the bad news is all the blood in my brain is why I'm in so much pain. I was relieved to hear I was not going to need to have it drained. The thought just makes me cringe. So we are just waiting for my body to naturaly reabsorb the blood. I went in Oct 21st and the blood had gone down almost 1/2 a centimeter but today I went back and no such luck. No more, no less. but the headaches have been a lot more intense. The doctor recommended that I just lay low, cut back on stress and take it easy for the next week or so and stay away from loud noises. Ummm...I wanted to say you do remember I have 3 small children right?! :) Anyway, I had a very very busy week last week and wonder if I am paying for it this week. I am limited as to what medications I can take becuase the good ones thin your blood and that's not good with a brain injury.
When we were in Vegas for the tri-athlon I hit my head really hard and we are pretty sure that is where I got the injury.
On a happier note (and because I have a hard time posting without using picutres) I absolutely LOVE when little girls have two braids and today I finally got braids to stay in B'shair. She looks adorable in them and so grown up. Oh happy day for me!

Randomness and ideas wanted

So you may have noticed my little weight loss ticker thing has not moved. Technically it has... I need to add 2 more pounds to it, not take away. Oops...I did not eat very wisely on our Vegas trip but I went running Tues, Wed and today though. I'm recommiting myself to eating healthier and continue my workouts. I love to work out, unfortunately I love to eat too. :)
Our house is still a wreck. How did we ever live in a tiny apartment?! That's what I feel like we are living in. The bedrooms are still torn apart and all our our stuff is in the living and family rooms along with us. We have the drywall guy coming on Tuesday and I get to go pick out our carpet on Monday. YIPPY! They say the wood floors will take 3 days to do and we can not be here because of the chemicals they will be using. My scrapbook stuff is still buried and I haven't done any real scrapbooking in soooo long. I did make a few cards yesterday, but no pages.
So it's my turn to plan R's and I's next date. I am fresh out of ideas though. Do you have any good ones. He planned the last date we went to the driving range and hit golf balls. It was so fun and different.
My friend Becky Cluff takes B for me every Wednesday. She came to me one day and said she just loves B and would like to watch her one day a week for me to give me a break. Isnt' that just the sweetest thing ever. Becky has been such a great friend to me. I want to come up with something to give to her are do for her as a thank you. Any ideas?
What's your favorite meal to take to a family? I took meals to two different friends last week who were sick and I'm taken something to my friend who just had a baby but I want some more ideas of something yummy to take. Any suggestions???

victory {victory} VICTORY
Let me just tell you how proud I am of my husband the tri-athlete. After watching Amy and I do our tri-athlon in April the guys decided they were going to give it a go. They did good and it was fun to go watch and support them. I did not get good pictures at all but here are the few I got.
I didn't get any of them in the water but this is the Lake Las Vegas that they swam in. R did so good on his swim. It only took him 10 minutes.

The bike took an hour. Man they had some steep hills. But they did great!

what a handsome guy. He hardly looks like he just finished a tri-athlon huh?!

1st Day on my weight loss journey
I was feeling kind of blah when I woke up today but was not about to let that be my out for not working out. So on went my tennis shoes. I walked the boys over to school and then jogged while pushing B in her stroller. She was so funny! She kept giggling and saying "WEEEE" which helped motivate me to keep up a good pace, so I'd be fun enough for her. Well after I got home and showered I got really dizzy and just vegged on the floor doing puzzels with B. At 11:30 I put B down for her nap and dozed off. I woke up an hour later with no voice. The boys think I sound cool and keep asking me why I don't answer the phone. I finally had K answer the phone to tell our neighbor I can't talk. She called like 6 times and I was worried something was wrong. I'm so ready for our house to be put back to gether and have my home in order. Oh how I wish I had my bed right now. The good thing about not feeling well was I hardly ate so that's good for the diet. :) Anyway, I'm off to bed to hopefully kick this little bug.
