I'm soooo happy! We finally get to have the wood floors refinished tomorrow. We have to move into a hotel for 3 days because of the chemicals they will be using. It should be interesting. We were able to get all of the drywall done and carpet in. After this we just have the master bath to finish and we will be back to normal around here. I guess I'd better go finish up the laundry so we can get packed. Here's how the walls look today, I can't wait to finally get to post the after pictures.

Randomness and ideas wanted

So you may have noticed my little weight loss ticker thing has not moved. Technically it has... I need to add 2 more pounds to it, not take away. Oops...I did not eat very wisely on our Vegas trip but I went running Tues, Wed and today though. I'm recommiting myself to eating healthier and continue my workouts. I love to work out, unfortunately I love to eat too. :)
Our house is still a wreck. How did we ever live in a tiny apartment?! That's what I feel like we are living in. The bedrooms are still torn apart and all our our stuff is in the living and family rooms along with us. We have the drywall guy coming on Tuesday and I get to go pick out our carpet on Monday. YIPPY! They say the wood floors will take 3 days to do and we can not be here because of the chemicals they will be using. My scrapbook stuff is still buried and I haven't done any real scrapbooking in soooo long. I did make a few cards yesterday, but no pages.
So it's my turn to plan R's and I's next date. I am fresh out of ideas though. Do you have any good ones. He planned the last date we went to the driving range and hit golf balls. It was so fun and different.
My friend Becky Cluff takes B for me every Wednesday. She came to me one day and said she just loves B and would like to watch her one day a week for me to give me a break. Isnt' that just the sweetest thing ever. Becky has been such a great friend to me. I want to come up with something to give to her are do for her as a thank you. Any ideas?
What's your favorite meal to take to a family? I took meals to two different friends last week who were sick and I'm taken something to my friend who just had a baby but I want some more ideas of something yummy to take. Any suggestions???

Where did the baby go???
Our house is still ripped apart. Our toilet and vanity from the master bath are in our bedroom just waiting for the bath drywall to get done. Well it was a little too quiet for my liking so I set off to find my little one.
She had found the perfect spot for her to play with her basket of finger puppets.
she is such a cute little busy body!
I'll sure be glad when our house is put back together, but B doesn't seem to mind.

We are one CLOSE family
Last friday when no one was home the pipe under our master bath sink broke and water squirted everywhere. R was at work and I was out of town. We are so glad R wasn't out of town with me or the damage could have been much worse.
My wood floors in the hall and part of the front room are ruined. They had to pull all of the carpet and pads in the rest of the house. The water also got into the walls and they had to cut out the bottom of our walls.
Soooo....we have all of the furntiture, toys and junk from all 3 bed rooms in the living and family rooms. The kids are sleeping on the couches, R and I on the floor and B in her playpen. Needless to say we are very "close" and scruntched. The boys have loved the instant fort and trails that they can wiggle in and out of. B is happy but oh so curious. We had to block off the other end of the house and boy does she want back there.
Yesterday I went out to the fridge in the garage to get some meat for dinner and realized it had no power. I flipped the breaker and it worked for a minute but then turned off again. We have so many fans going (the big industrial type fans) to try and dry out the walls (18 in all) that it kept tripping the breaker. Also it got really really hot. I went to check the AC and it was on but barely working. We called the water restoration people back and they told us to unplug the stuff and they'd be out today.
The were able to switch cords around and so far everything seems to be working well. I am not looking forward to this next power bill at all. Almost every single outlet in the house is being used.
The guy told me it takes 5-10 days to get everything dry. It still stinks. We have the carpet guy coming tomorrow to give us a quote.
I want my house back and my own space. It's so hard living right on top of each other, but we are trying to stay possitive. At least it was clean water and not sewage or anything awful like that. We are lucky there.
This is part of my bedroom
