*warning, I am fine I just thought wanted to have this documented being how we use this as our family journal so to speak.
So I've been having really really intense head aches for the last few months. I finally went to the doctor who had me go and get a CT scan. The following day the doctor called me and said my brain was bleeding and I had to get to the hospital immediately and he was sending an ambulance to pick me up ect...it seemed a little dramatic to me but it spooked me pretty good. I was already in my car and told him I'd come in right away. Thanks Amy for taking lil' sis. When I got there they immediatly took me back and did an MRI to try and pin point where the bleeding was coming from, and if it was still bleeding. The good news is it is not still bleeding the bad news is all the blood in my brain is why I'm in so much pain. I was relieved to hear I was not going to need to have it drained. The thought just makes me cringe. So we are just waiting for my body to naturaly reabsorb the blood. I went in Oct 21st and the blood had gone down almost 1/2 a centimeter but today I went back and no such luck. No more, no less. but the headaches have been a lot more intense. The doctor recommended that I just lay low, cut back on stress and take it easy for the next week or so and stay away from loud noises. Ummm...I wanted to say you do remember I have 3 small children right?! :) Anyway, I had a very very busy week last week and wonder if I am paying for it this week. I am limited as to what medications I can take becuase the good ones thin your blood and that's not good with a brain injury.
When we were in Vegas for the tri-athlon I hit my head really hard and we are pretty sure that is where I got the injury.
On a happier note (and because I have a hard time posting without using picutres) I absolutely LOVE when little girls have two braids and today I finally got braids to stay in B'shair. She looks adorable in them and so grown up. Oh happy day for me!
