victory {victory} VICTORY

Let me just tell you how proud I am of my husband the tri-athlete. After watching Amy and I do our tri-athlon in April the guys decided they were going to give it a go. They did good and it was fun to go watch and support them. I did not get good pictures at all but here are the few I got.

I didn't get any of them in the water but this is the Lake Las Vegas that they swam in. R did so good on his swim. It only took him 10 minutes.

The bike took an hour. Man they had some steep hills. But they did great!
Look at him go. This was right before he crossed the finish-line. It took him 46 minutes to run.

what a handsome guy. He hardly looks like he just finished a tri-athlon huh?!
Tom and R after the race. It's such a great feeling of accomplishment and I'm so proud of these guys. We've talked about doing the couples triathlon next year. That'd be fun, and we'd have stay at this resort though, it was beautiful!
Tom's dad got us a room at the Silverton and we had fun hanging out with the Cowley's for some of the time we were there.

Where did the baby go???

Our house is still ripped apart. Our toilet and vanity from the master bath are in our bedroom just waiting for the bath drywall to get done. Well it was a little too quiet for my liking so I set off to find my little one.

She had found the perfect spot for her to play with her basket of finger puppets.

she is such a cute little busy body!

I'll sure be glad when our house is put back together, but B doesn't seem to mind.

Zonked out!

Now that the boys are back in school I have been trying to have some fun structured activites for B and I to do together. The other day after walking the kids to school we went to the park and she had fun running all over. Then when we got back to our house she had a little scavenger hunt and discovered leaves. Then we tossed a ball back and forth to each other and practiced marching all around the yard. I thought I'd feed her lunch and then we would do stories and naps but apparently she had tired herself out from our morning adventure because I heard this soft little pur and looked over and she was fast asleep. I was able to clean her up, change her diaper and put her in her crib without waking up. She is such a cutie!

1st Day on my weight loss journey

I was feeling kind of blah when I woke up today but was not about to let that be my out for not working out. So on went my tennis shoes. I walked the boys over to school and then jogged while pushing B in her stroller. She was so funny! She kept giggling and saying "WEEEE" which helped motivate me to keep up a good pace, so I'd be fun enough for her. Well after I got home and showered I got really dizzy and just vegged on the floor doing puzzels with B. At 11:30 I put B down for her nap and dozed off. I woke up an hour later with no voice. The boys think I sound cool and keep asking me why I don't answer the phone. I finally had K answer the phone to tell our neighbor I can't talk. She called like 6 times and I was worried something was wrong. I'm so ready for our house to be put back to gether and have my home in order. Oh how I wish I had my bed right now. The good thing about not feeling well was I hardly ate so that's good for the diet. :) Anyway, I'm off to bed to hopefully kick this little bug.

Not so little anymore

B went to Nursery for the first time today. I was really nervouse, but she did great! She looked so little compared to all the other kids. She's still a baby and they seem more like toddlers. Her teacher said she did great until 20 minutes before it was time to leave, some one opened the door to get their kid early and then she wanted to leave and went to the door and cried. I'm happy though, I thought she'd be real clingy and have a hard time. It was so weird to go to class without her, but I'm going to LOVE it!
