Day 221 8/9/09

{K} is not feeling well today. Little {B} has taken it upon herself to be his nurse and keeps bringing him toys, pillows, blankets, books ect...he's hasn't felt up to what she brings him, but he's sure a good sport. Hope he's feeling better tomorrow for meet the teacher.

{B} LOVES to play dress up. She seems to change her outfits all day long. Her favorite are her big full skirt dresses. Today she had a "princess dress" on with her summer hat. What a cutie!

Day 219 8/7/09

Tonight we had "late night" which is earned by going to bed on time all week long. The kids each got to pick a movie to rent, then we came home made our pizza's and got to stay up late. The kids LOVE it and it makes bed time during the week such a breeze.

Day 220 8/8/09

Today we had a no technology day. No tv, video games or computer. The kids didn't seem to mind at all. We need to do this more often. The boys played sorry about 3 times in a row, we also played twister, uno and go fish. Then they made a treasure map for {B} and I to find the treasure which was a pile of cute pictures they had colored earlier in the day.

Day 217, 8/5/09 Alphabet Summer letter Z

Today we decorated our letter Z's with Zebra stripes.

Then we sorted all of our broken crayons, took the paper off the and baked them in the oven,

when they were all melted we put them in candy molds to make Zoo animal crayons

Then we colored Zoo animals with our Zoo animal crayons. The kids thought these were awesome!

Then they enjoyed a yummy little debbie Zebra cupcake

We were so happy to be able to attend my Brothers marriage to Lisa. She is such an amazing lady and I am so glad he found her. It's so nice to see him happy again since losing his wife after the birth of their 5th child 2 1/2 years ago. Lisa is very sensitve to the childrens feelings and just so much fun to be around.

It was a very emotional day for me, very tuff, but very good! I am so grateful for the temple/gospel and for Forever Families. MaryAnn will always have a very special place in my heart, and I love Lisa with all my heart too!

They had a beautiful reception in Lisa's sisters backyard that night but unfortunately I don't have any pictures, but I won't go there :) We are so happy for Rob, Lisa and the kids.

Day 214, 8/2/09

We got up really early and made the loooong ride home. We had a lot of fun, but it was soooo nice to finally be home. {R} is not allowed to have facial hair at work so he grew a goatee while on vacation. I actually love the bald head goatee look. Too bad it had to go!

{R} brought home some beautiful flowers just because. He is so good to me and I love him very much!

{B} loves to play dress up. She wore this "princess" dress and hat all after noon. Oh to be 2 again.

Day 210, 7/29/09-Day 212, 7/31/09

Day 210, 7/29/09

We went and spent the morning playing at Grandpa Fonnesbeck's home.

Then we all headed over to Red Robin for lunch. It was nice to get to spend some time with {R}'s Grandpa and we had a nice visit with him. I especially enjoyed listening to the stories {R} told on the car ride. Very interesting/entertaining. :)

Next we headed over to Grandpa/ma Moody's home. The kids had fun running around with their cute cousins.

Both boys got to go on Motorcycle rides and loved it!

Uncle Alex aparently bought a bike for Uncle Sean, he decided he didn't want it and Alex offered it to {R}. I'm not all that thrilled about it, but {R} sure was. It's a generous offer and I appreciate it, but it just makes me super nervous.

For dinner we went to Settebellos where Uncle Alex and Sean both work. It was sooo fun to watch Alex make the pizza's and boy were they yummy, he sure is good at what he does.

Day 211, 7/30/09

{R}'s family owns some land up at bear lake and they go there every summer. It was so great that we just happened to be in town during the reunion this year. We've missed going and I'm so glad the kids got to finally go see what we have been talking about all these years.

The cousins all had fun collecting little shells on the beach.

{B} and Bubba having fun playing together. They are both at such a fun age and I got a kick out of watching them up there.

We bought this little raft for the kids, they loved it.

It was sure nice to visit with all of {R}'s family and I even got to use my Mother in Laws cricut up there. She has a lot of fun cartridges and is just so fun to be with! Wish we could have "played" longer, but we just have sooo many family and friends we want to see that I always feel so stretched and worry about not spending enough time with everybody when we come. Hope we did better this time around, I really tried!

Day 212, 7/31/09

We spend the morning at Bear Lake then after lunch headed back to Provo so we could get all cleaned up, kids to the baby sitter and over to Magleby's Resturaunt for my brothers wedding dinner. The food was amazing and we had a blast visiting with all our family. I forgot my camera so I don't have pictures.

One of my very favorite things about getting together with my family is playing games together. It is always a BLAST! After dinner we headed back to my parents and played password. I have NEVER had so much fun playing that game before.

We laughed so hard my stomach seriously started to hurt. I will never forget this night, I giggle just thinking about it! BTW, I still think Dad and I won since SOMEONE was giving an awful lot of illegal clues. ha ha ha!!!

Day 208, 7/27/09-Day 209 7/28/09

We had a great time playing out at the "RES" (reservoir) I've heard Amy talk about this place a lot and was excited to finally get to go check it out for my self.

We were very excited that Tom took the day off and we were able to spend another day with him. We roasted Hotdogs and made smores. Mmm...Mmm...

Day 209, 7/28/09

The kids all had a blast at the park.

There were 5 slides at our playground so I got my cell phone out and timed each kid individually on how quickly they could go down each slide. The were adorable and I think they all did it 5 or 6 times, trying to beat their previous time.

It was so fun to get to spend some time with the Cowleys. We have really missed them since their move back to Utah, but glad they went somewhere we go often.

After the park we headed to South Jordan to see my good friend Carrie and her cute family. When enjoyed a yummy lunch at Cafe Rio. I'm so glad we were able to catch up and spend some time together.

We headed up to Delta to spend some time with our good friends the Cowleys. They made us a delicious dinner and we had fun hanging out and talking with them.

Day 206, 7/25/09

My nephew got his mission call to Columbia and we were all able to see him go through the temple for the first time. It was awesome! He's not in this picture, we were still waiting for him and I never got one once he came out.

Then we had a big swim party. Christy put together some different pool games for a kids Olmpics. It was so cute, she is such a fun Aunt! {K} got pushed in the pool and was getting paybacks here. These four are so funny.

Day 205, 7/24/09

My sister wanted to have a huge 40th birthday party for my brother in law so she threw together an awesome surprise party. We did an Iron Chef compitition. We were put into teams, boys against girls. Each team got $5.00 the guys had to run to walmart to pick the ingredients they wanted to use to flavor their steaks. Each girl team was given three ingredients that they had to us to make a side dish. We also got $5.00 to go buy any other ingredients we needed to make our side dish. My teams ingrecients were strawberries, cottage cheese and a cucumber. We bought a pack of veggie dip mix and some jello and made two dips. Here are all the sides.

Had a busy day getting ready to head out of town, finished the day off with some yummy icecream before going to bed.
