Happy Birthday Becki

Today is my little sister Becki's Birthday. She is so AWESOME and I love her to pieces.

The things I love most about her are...
1. She is really fun to hang out with
2. She has a really strong testimony
3. Good listener and always knows exactly what to say
4. Such a good example to me of how to see the good in everybody
5. Very easy going and funny
6. She is such a great Aunt, she loves my kids and they know it.
7. Cute mom and wife
8. So very creative, she comes up with the cutest ideas and is able to pull them off so great.
9. Always, always, always can cheer me up, she is so fun to just sit and chat with and I'm always in the best mood after a Becki phone call.
10. So organized and on top of things. It always amazes me when she tells me all the things she's done in a day. I get tired just listening to all the good that she does.
I love you Becki. Hope you have a Happy Happy Birthday!

Feb 9th 2008

It is a beautiful day today so we took the kids out for lunch and fun at the park. Becca was so adorable. Kyle and Jaden took turns pushing her and she just giggled over and over. (these pics were taken with my phone so they aren't the best).

1st hospital visit

Becca has had a cough so I kept her home from church. I could tell she doesn’t feel good because she hasn’t wanted to play or do anything. She didn’t have much of an appatite, but she’s been as sweet and happy as can be so I didn’t think she had anything more than a cold. I put her down for a late nap around 3:00. About 8:00 she was still asleep so I went in to wake her up. I changed her, tried to feed her again and all she wanted to do was sleep. At 11:30 I woke up from a dead sleep and had an uneasy feeling about things. I went to check on her and she was still sleeping peacefully. I went back to bed but still it didn’t sit right with me. So I went back in woke her up and she had a deeper cough than before and then started gasping for air. It really really scared me so I called Ryan who was still at work and told him I was taking her into the ER. Ryan immidately came home and we took her in. The ER gave her a breathing treatment which is good for 3 hours. After it wore off her cough and gasping "came back with a vengence". The doctor said that it common. So they gave her the second steroid breathing treatment, and admitted her into the hospital around 5:00 A.m. The second treatment did the trick and we were finally able to take her home at 3:00p.m. They sent us home with an oral steroid that we are to give her at naps and bed time for the next few days. Despite obviously feeling sooo yucky Becca was so sweet and happy. She never really cried and was all smiles. When we were leaving we got to go into this small room that was loading with toys and pick a new toy for her. Becca LOVES puzzles so that what we got, and she held it the whole ride home. We feel so blessed and happy that our little princess is doing much better.

Happy Birthday Carrie!

These pictures are so old, (don't kill me Carrie) but oh the memories! I've had my friend Carries b-day card done since the first of January and I still have not mailed it. Her b-day was the end of Jan. So here is a shout out to Carrie who just had a birthday!
Happy Birthday Carrie!
A few things to know about her...
1. She is BEAUTIFUL!!! (inside and out of course)
2. She is an excellent mother to her adorable little Ellie. I'm dying to see her.
3. She rocks at home decorating (I wish she'd come and help me).
4. She makes me LaUgH harder than most people( I think because she gets me and I get her)
5.She's been through a lot of those imbarresing moments with me (and she's still my friend. :)
6. She has such a kind heart and always has been a great example
7. She is very creative
8. It doesn't matter how long we've been apart, we always pick up where we left off (which it's been too long by the way).
9. She is the BEST hairstylist. Haven't found any one as good as her, or as entertaining while getting my hair done.
10. She is so so fun. she know's all the fun spots to shop or hang out or what ever and each outing with her is fun and exciting.
I love her so much and am keeping my fingers crossed that we will make it up there to visit soon!

"Being a mother of boys is hard work from SON up to SON down!" (but I wouldn't trade it for the world).

Ok, so I've been waiting to post this because I was hoping to have a happy ending but that has yet to come. Last Thursday as we were getting ready to run some errands Kyle came and said "Mom, Dad I have to tell you something and your not going to like it". He then proceeded to tell us that he took Ryan's police badge to school and gave it to his friend Christian. He was in soooooo much trouble. Well here we are Friday a week later and still no badge. Christian was home sick the first part of the week and now is saying he has lost it, AND his parents have been no help at all. It's so frusterating. I'm sure some day I will laugh at this but right now...not so much!
