Jack-o-lantern

We carved pumpkins for FHE this week. Becca did not like the pumpkin seeds and such but.....

Jaden had no fear.

He is ALL boy and loved the slimy guts.

Dad helped Becca with her pumpkin.

Kyle decided he just wanted to paint his pumpkin.

Here are the final products.

so cute!

I love this time of year and all the excitement it brings.

Now we are officially ready for Halloween!

library trick or treat

My friend told us about the Halloween trick or treat event at the library. We thought it sounded like so much fun and decided to go check it out.

Don't you just loved these three little super hero's. Becca had a princess costume she was going to wear but my friend Heather had this super cute wonder woman costume she said we could borrow so she matched her friends. :) It was adorable!!!!

first the kids got to make a paper plate ghost.

Super cute!!!!

After our crafts we went trick or treating thru out the library. All of the prizes were crafts that we could take home and do. I thought that was a great idea!

We had a lot of fun.

Thanks Heather and boys for the fun day!

I really LOVED this costume and my sweet little WONDERFUL girl!!!!

great way to start out the day.

It made me laugh the other day when I was doing my hair in the bathroom and looked over and saw Becca doing this in the shower. She was singing and happy as can be too. :)

She is in that phase of writing her name everywhere. Yes even on the walls. After I found a couple of her autographs I gave her her very own post it note pad. She leaves the cutest notes EVERYWHERE now. Love it!!!!

Lil Bunnies

My friend Janell called and told me that Mesa High's cheer team was having a fundraiser and wanted to know if Becca wanted to do it with her daugther Cambree. I thought that sounded like fun and we signed the girls up. They taught them a cheer for the little girls to perform at the Football game the following week. Mesa is the jackrabbits. The little girls were called the Lil' Bunnies and they each got a shirt to wear at the game.

Here they are warming up.

Streeeeetch.

it was a lot of fun watching the girls get ready.

practicing their jumps and kicks.

The girls would hold up two fingers to make bunny ears and yell "lets go rabbits, clap, clap, clap...Let go rabbits"

she got the clapping down.

They also did a purple and gold cheer that was too cute to boot.

after they practiced a little they were ready to go out to the field.

We unfortunately did not think ahead and when we got out there the line to get in was CRAZY long. We waited for at least 20 minutes, and still had a ways to go. The girls were to perform between the 1st and the 2nd. As the clock was ticking away I got really nervous. I went and asked if we could please slip in and pay after they perform so I can get pictures. The lady agreed to let me but not Ryan or Janell and her family.

I got there right as they started but by the time I got the camera out and ready they were done.

It was adorable though. I am so sad Ryan and the others didn't get to see it.

This was date night for Ryan, Becca so Ryan took Becca and I out of ice cream and dinner. It was a lot of fun. I enjoy date night and one on one with the kids. Becca had a lot of random things to share and I just can not get enough of her. :)

FHE luau!

My friend Staci invited us to her extended family FHE Luau. I think it's awesome that they all still get together. She said they do it every month. How cool is that.
Ryan had to work but the kids and I were still able to go and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!

The Entertainment was awesome and the kids LOVED getting to be on stage learning the dances. They also had fun doing the limbo.

They had delious food and the desserts were to die for.
Jaden LOVED the snow cones and yes that cute boy in the yellow shirt is not mine, he's Staci's.
But we sure is cute and we love him.
It was funny....when we pulled up to Staci's parents house my kids all ohhhh and ahhhhed at how beuatiful their home is. Jaden said "I've never been a in real mansion" and Kyle said as we were getting out of the car "K guys, be good. We want the rich people to know that poor kids no how to be good too" hahahaha. They crack me up!
It was such a fun night. Thanks Allen's for letting us tag along!!!!

A is for Apples

Becca had the treat for preschool this week. The letter of the day was A. I was so excited when I found these cute rice cripsy treat apples. They used green frosting for the leaf. I thought it would be cute to use green candy instead. It wasn't as cute as I had pictured it in my mind haha, but they still turned out cute.

Becca LOVES to help in the kitchen. She helped everystep of the way.

Pushing the buttons on the microwave is one of her favorite jobs.

She also liked unwrapping the tootsie rolls and taste testing some of them too.

We added Strawberry jello for the color and a little extra flavor.

Viola!!! I love spending time in the kitchen with my girl!

Dance class

Dance class has started again and our little ballerina could be more excited. She seems to have just picked up right where they left off. I LOVE watching her be so graceful and dainty.

Happy Danicing sweet baby girl!!!
