Princess night out

A couple days weeks ago I heard that Chick-fil-a in the mall was having a Princess night. Every little girl who came dressed in their ball attire got a free kids meal. They went all out, and it was so cute. {B} loved talking to Belle, Cinderella and her Fairy God Mother.

The boys tagged along and were able to get their face painted, twisty balloons and ride the huge carousel.

I loved the corsage balloon that the girls got. It totally cracked me up...when we were leaving {B} put her rose that Cinderella gave her in her mouth and said this is what you do and stared spinning around. It was so cute.

Dance with Miss Wendy

{B} started dance three weeks ago and absolutley LOVES it!

It's so fun to watch her and her little friends.

I am glad {B} is so girly and way into dance. It's just so cute! I'm so excited for her first recital.

SWEET!!!!

Saturday before Ry went to work we decided to go on a little family outing. We didn't tell the kids where we were going. It's always fun to do things that way. I love to hear all their guesses about what they think we will do.

We made it to our destination in Chandler to AZ largest candy store "Sweeties" I heard about it on the radio. It was huge!!!!

The kids were in candy heaven. They hadn't even eaten any sugar and they were having a blast. They had any and everything you could ever think of.

These slo pokes make me think of my Grandpa/Mom. He would buy my mom these when she was little when they would travel and her and my aunts and uncles would eat them quietly the whole ride home. They are so yummy and take a very loooong time to eat.

We all loved the PEZ wall. You wouldn't believe all the different characters they have. So fun!!!

this big league chew gum brought back memories for both Ry and I. They kids weren't all that impressed. :) We found so many different candy's from our day....hahaha I never really thought of candy having an era, but apparently it does. The gigantic jawbreakers reminded me of our big long summer trips to Utah and how I would make it last all summer

they had every kind of Jelly Belly you could imagine.

I LOVED these candy sticks. They remind me of summers in Utah too. We let everybody pick one flavor.

My favorite was all of the halloween candy. I can NOT wait for this years Halloween party. It's just so fun to decorate for. And these different shaped candy's are going to look so cute in my spider candy bowl Christy gave me. I can't wait!!!

I thought this was absolutely disgusting but...they had REAL dead crickets in different flavors. We actually DID buy them for the boys Halloween party. The theme this year is fear factor and I will be absolutely horrified if anyone actually eats one, but well see.

It was a fun day. I just love spending time with my cute little family. They boys are at such a fun age where they joke around and tease with Ry and I and {B} is well behaved and they all are just a lot of fun to take places.

FHE succes

I love love love it when we do a Family Home Evening and everything runs smoothly cuz lets be honest here it doesn't always go like so. The other day when I was reading the Friend Magazine (issued by our church for children under 12) I came across an article (garbage can graffiti) and I knew instantly I wanted to plan our entire FHE around it.

Ry read the story and the kids gave him their full attention. (HURRAY!!!) Afterwards we were able to talk about different ways we receive prompting from the Holy Ghost and how important it is to listen and then go do, (or not do in this case).

After our discussion Ry pulled out a little garbage can I bought at the Dollar store which held our refreshments for the night.

The kids were very excited and Ky and {B} decided to make hats out of the garbage can.

The thing I love about this lesson is the new garbage can will go in the boys room and I hope as they see it they will think of the story their Dad told them and it will help remind them to listen for that still small voice. I love anything to help re emphasis what we try and teach them.

{J} was in charge of the activity and we played his favorite game of all time. Ben 10 from Aunt Christy.

*A little while ago he told me he did not like Ben 10 anymore, but apparently they made up. ha! He is a big time fanatic again. That boy cracks me up with how all or nothing he gets, but Ben 10 is once again all he ever talks about. Such a silly boy.

Love this girl!

Living in AZ your entire life can apparently cause one to have season confussion.
The other day {B} came out of her room wearing this awesome outfit.

The "ladder" (railing off of her toddler bed) is her snow shovel.

What a crack up! She definately keeps us entertained.

Pony Rides

We decided to kick off our long day weekend with some horseback riding.

The kids had a blast riding the horses and grooming the babies.

{B} loved the her horse with the pink hair.

We had so much fun visiting and riding and can't wait to go again!!!

We decided to take the kids to breakfast afterwards. We had a lot of fun and when it was time to go we went up to pay and somebody had already paid for our family. It was the sweetest thing. It made for the neatest conversation on the ride home. The kids all made guesses at who they thought paid for us and we talked about how exciting it was and how it made us feel. It was really cool. Thank you complete stranger for the neat lesson you taught us all!

Big new adventure....

Today was Little B's very first day of preschool. She woke up and was soooo excited to go!

She was told to bring something special to her to share for show and tell. She of course brought her little baby Leena and bottle. (not sure where she picked up that name, but it has ALWAYS been her babies name) :)

I can't believe how grown up, yet still so little she is.

she LOVES that she finally gets to use the backpack we bought her. She has been begging to have it ever since the boys went back to school 2 weeks ago.

She was very excited and went right in to the classroom. (which is the cutest room ever!)

I told Ry I was surprized how well I held it together and that I didn't even get teary-eyed. He laughed and said ya, but it helps that you are leaving her with someone you know and love! So true. Ms.Staci is my cute friend and she is absolutely AMAZING!!! When we got home she of course had to call her Grandma's and Grandpa's. She told Grandma "I love my teacher....she is the REAL snowwhite....AND.... Parkers Mommy" haha!

On our walk home we asked {B} if she likes preschool and she replied with a real big happy YES! Then we asked what she did at preschool and she said "ummm....I sat on a red circle" I adventually got more out of her, but she talked about sitting on that red circle for quite sometime. She put her belly on the circle and she sat still on the circle, ect....(gonna have to find out more about that) :) She is so funny.

What did I do with my two hours of kid free time???? Called and talked to Amy of course, (we actually schedulued this into our schedule, hahaha) it was great....we got to catch up. It's been awhile since we've actually talked (we text, fb or blog daily) and it was fun to have an actual conversation. Love her!!! I also got my dishes done, cleaned out the fridge and folded some laundry as we talked. I'm so excited for this fun little stage that {B} has begun, and couldn't ask for a better preschool!
