Halloween Family Home Evening.

I LOVE Halloween. It's such a fun holiday to have with kids. I love all the traditions that come with it so for Family Home Evening last week we headed over to this cute little pumpkin patch. There was only one other family there and boy did we have fun!

The boys loved all of the HUGE pumpkins.

J found his.

B loved her ride in this cute little barrell train pulled by a tractor.

so did the boys.

Sheeesh! If looks could kill. This picture totally cracks me up. I kept calling to Bso she would look at the camera. She thought I was trying to get her out and she kept saying "no bye-bye, no bye-bye"

J loved riding this little bike around the hay bales.

The boys didn't understand exactly why we were trying to get lost in the corn maze but we had fun walking talking and letting them pick which way to turn.

We made it!

The boys had a blast racing on these little cars.

here we are about to see the animals

B loves all animals, however she calls them all puppies. Here she is saying Hi puppy, hi puppy!

Woah, this guy got a little close. Glad Daddy was there to make her feel safe

B loved playing peek-a-boo at this sign

and it didn't matter what side she was on.

teeter tottering around the boys go up

Dad and B go down

After the pumpkin patch we came home and had chilli. This is definately one of my favorite halloween traditions. R and I had so much fun watching the kids excitement with each activity. We were talking about what a fun age the boys are at. They are developing these adorable little personalities and are so fun to just chit chat with and hear what's going on in their little minds. I am so glad I get to be the mommy of such wonderful sweet little spirits. I am definately very blessed.

b-day party and patrol car fun.

Saturday we went to one of R's buddies house to celebrate his adorable little girls birthday. It was so fun to get the babies together and watch them interact. B LOVES babies and was so cute with her little friend. They daddies had a lot of fun too. :) Thanks Al and Aubrey for the fun party and yummy food.

After the party we dropped Roff at work. He let the kids play in his patrol car for a little bit and turned the siren on and everything. They thought it was the coolest thing ever

Silence is golden...

in a movie theater maybe but definately not when you are home with a super busy 1 1/2 year old little girl. I was on the phone this morning and realized it was rather quiet. I went to find B and here is what she had been up too.

laughter is good for the soul

I get such a kick out of the kids. They say some of the silliest things. The other day K and I had the following conversation.
K-(while scratching his legs said) Oh man, every day I get bug bites when I sleep and then they itch A LOT in the morning!
Me-Oh dear that's not good, I'm sorry.
K-I'm sleeping as tight as I can but I still get bed bug bites. :)

They are really mosquito bites, but I thought it was darling.

The other day while shopping at Target I found this sign and just had to get it. If there is one thing I can not stand it is whining. I brought it home put in on the fridge and told the kids our new rule of NO WHINING. J whined a few times about different things and I made him go to the fridge and read the sign to me to remind him not to do it. I finally said if you whine again you'll have to go sit on your bed. A little while later J came into the kitchen and bumped his hip on the table. It hurt him and he yelled out "aaahhhh ouch!" Then he quickly looked at me and said "I was not whining, that's just what a man says when he gets hurt" :)

Seriouly everywhere we go people always comment on how adorable B is. (I love it). Well yesterday at the store this hispanic lady came up to B and touched her little curls and then rattled something like "ahhh bebe' moi bonita yada yada yada" all in spanish. I kid you not, B raised her eyebrows and then said "HUH?!" and started to giggle. I totally started busting up. And any of you who really know me know that I could not stop. It was hysterical to me.

To all my crafty talented friends.

So I'm having a lot of fun with the scrapbook blog Amy and I are doing. It is so fun to see the different projects even if we are usually together when things get made, but not ALL the time. :) Anyway I was so excited when Shelley sent me her cute banner to post on the blog that I thought I would officially invite you to send any/all of your cute layouts cards, decor or any other cute papercraft projects you do. Just email them to us at thehappyscraps@yahoo.com We've been doing weekly challenges (although I am 2 weeks behind on mine), I like having the challenge to do things that I probablly would not typically do.

I posted this on the scrapbook blog, but here are some frames I made as baptism gifts for some little friends of ours along with the card I made to go with it. They were a huge hit and I'm soooo excited to do K's here in a few months.

Once Upon a Time

Kyle was reading a book to Becca and their was a bear sleeping. Above the picture it said Zzz-Zzz!

Kyle read it like so "Zzz take away Zzz". Glad he's getting his math in there too. He cracks me up.

So much to see

We took Becca to the zoo one day last week while the boys were in school. While we were down looking at some caged parrots and other exotic birds we saw this "free" bird on the side walk

Becca was very concerned that it was not in the cage, she pointed at it and Jabbered something that went like this.
"OH NO shla blah tla mephut bleh HERE (meaning the cage) plemutepha ket to la poo blach NO."
It was so funny and very clear that she thought that bird was supposed to be with all the other ones.

Becca's favorite animal was the Elephant I think
or maybe this cute little guy. She was glued to his every move.
Amy got the kids laughing hysterically in a fun game of peek-a-boo.
Man I wish I had the video camera when they were laughing it was adorable.
Becca's prefered mode of transportation for the day. Dad's are the BEST!

Seriously...are they not just the cutest little buddies? So glad they have each other. Too cute!
Thanks for the fun day Cowleys!
