Silence is golden...

in a movie theater maybe but definately not when you are home with a super busy 1 1/2 year old little girl. I was on the phone this morning and realized it was rather quiet. I went to find B and here is what she had been up too.

laughter is good for the soul

I get such a kick out of the kids. They say some of the silliest things. The other day K and I had the following conversation.
K-(while scratching his legs said) Oh man, every day I get bug bites when I sleep and then they itch A LOT in the morning!
Me-Oh dear that's not good, I'm sorry.
K-I'm sleeping as tight as I can but I still get bed bug bites. :)

They are really mosquito bites, but I thought it was darling.

The other day while shopping at Target I found this sign and just had to get it. If there is one thing I can not stand it is whining. I brought it home put in on the fridge and told the kids our new rule of NO WHINING. J whined a few times about different things and I made him go to the fridge and read the sign to me to remind him not to do it. I finally said if you whine again you'll have to go sit on your bed. A little while later J came into the kitchen and bumped his hip on the table. It hurt him and he yelled out "aaahhhh ouch!" Then he quickly looked at me and said "I was not whining, that's just what a man says when he gets hurt" :)

Seriouly everywhere we go people always comment on how adorable B is. (I love it). Well yesterday at the store this hispanic lady came up to B and touched her little curls and then rattled something like "ahhh bebe' moi bonita yada yada yada" all in spanish. I kid you not, B raised her eyebrows and then said "HUH?!" and started to giggle. I totally started busting up. And any of you who really know me know that I could not stop. It was hysterical to me.

Once Upon a Time

Kyle was reading a book to Becca and their was a bear sleeping. Above the picture it said Zzz-Zzz!

Kyle read it like so "Zzz take away Zzz". Glad he's getting his math in there too. He cracks me up.

Mommy's shadow

I just finished washing my pots and pans. While I was drying and putting them away B pushed her stool over to the sink to have a peek.

I handed her the scrub brush and boy did she have a ball.

She is such a fun happy little helper.

Bubbles of fun

Yesterday the kids and I had fun playing with bubbles. This is the first time we've done bubbles with B and boy did she love it. K and J were "practicing" their kung fu moves while popping the bubbles. It was cute!
